He's 52. Good at his work, tired of trading hours for it. He's watched enough AI videos to feel behind and done exactly nothing with them.

One evening he stops consuming and makes a decision. He names the one thing people always ask him about, the thing he can explain without thinking. Three plain bullets: the question, his answer, the mistake most people make.

Notice what did the work here. Not the tool. His 25 years of judgment, deciding which answer was worth a stranger's money.

Now hold that against a real number. 24/7 Wall St. reported on a $1.75 million portfolio paying $10,200 a month, around a 7% yield. Beautiful. Also completely out of reach for most people reading this.

That's the whole point. He didn't have $1.75 million sitting idle. He had one thing he could explain in his sleep.

The nine dollars isn't the money. It's proof. Proof the asset exists.

The typing was free. The judgment was his. Only his.
